Meet Our Staff



Introducing our Principal, Teenaka Kennedy. Teenaka also teaches in our Year 4,5 and 6 class on Fridays.

Deborah Charleson is our Deputy Principal and teaches in our Year 2 and 3 class.

Carmel Wassell is our DRS and teaches in our New Entrant / Year 1 class.

Natalie Chisholm teaches in our Year 4, 5 and 6 class from Monday - Thursday. 

Alphabet Cubes


Sue Idour is our Classroom Release Teacher and one of our regular relief teachers. She brings her love of the French language and culture into our school by providing French lessons to our children.

Learning Support Co-ordinator

Pile of Books

Courtney Sherman is our Learning Support Co-ordinator. She provides support in all our classes on a as needed basis. She provides tailored support to individual children and groups of children in all areas of the curriculum. 



Rachel Chadwick is our Office Manager. She is the friendly face you will see when you enter the school and the voice on the other end of the phone when you give us a ring.

Robyn Firmin is one of our superstar learning support team. Robyn brings a huge amount of dedication to her work and really relishes seeing all children achieve while creating a supportive environment for them to learn. She currently spends her days helping our Year 4, 5 and 6 children.

Sharon McRae is another member of our superstar learning support team. Sharon enjoys supporting our Year 2 and 3 classroom with all their learning and helping out with our ESOL (English to speakers of other languages) programme.

Marie Heyward is part of our superstar learning support team. Marie enjoys working with our New Entrant and Year 1 children to give them the best start to their time at St Brigid’s. She also helps with our ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) programme.

Catherine Mirfin has a passion for literacy and is responsible for keeping our library looking amazing and up to date with exciting new books to instill a love of reading in our children.
